Itinerary: Subject to change due to local conditions, unforeseen events, or more interesting as yet unplanned awesome experiences that become available
Overview:
Gettysburg is an infamous place for both its history and its intrigue and mystery so let’s explore it all! We’ll uncover the past and get in touch with the residual energy left from the thousands of soldiers who died during the horrific Civil War battle that took place here in 1863. It’s difficult not to feel the aura of an eerie atmosphere surrounding the entire area where such tragedy took place. It permeates every nook and cranny and lingers behind every corner.
Many stories can be told about what occurred here and what lingers and perhaps why, perfect for those who love to learn about history, those seeking the supernatural, and for those who are curious about both. For those with an open mind, being in touch with otherworldly experiences can help to form an understanding of how past lives and situations shape where our world is today along with current societal beliefs, attitudes, and perspectives.
You’ll have the chance to encounter the supernatural with an overnight stay at the haunted Historic 1912 Hoover House, nestled in the historic district of Waynesboro. We’ll have the entire place to ourselves to explore and investigate, so any happenings outside of those our group experiences will be chalked up to the unexplained.
History Lovers:
If you’d love to delve into all the history you can get your hands on but don’t particularly want to sleep with the spirits, stay downtown and enjoy the surroundings nearby as you please.
With many museums, shops, restaurants, and sights within walking distance, there will be much to do and see. Either way, it will be a fun two days among the aura of mystery with lots of history in Gettysburg and beyond!

If you feel intrigued, take a stroll to the McAllister Family Cemetery and perhaps come across the hidden African American Cemetery where descendants of the slaves who lived and worked at Fort Hunter remain.
Museum of Haunted Objects:
