We’re Travelers, Not Tourists
Slow travel — the essence of all our tours whether around the U.S. or around the world. It’s the idea that our trips are highly immersive, focusing on one or two destinations instead of breezing by the local sights and stories, or getting lost in an overwhelming blur of facts.
When it comes to traveling, we understand that less is more, and this way we get to know the places we go and the people we travel with.
Our trips are personally led by us— Jen and Creed— people who at heart believe that travel is the best form of education. With us, you get a taste of the lesser known gems, beyond the traditional tourist stops, by traveling with people who have made travel their lives. Sure, we see the major sites but we also explore beyond the touristy places. It is the only way to understand the people, the culture and the history, and to connect these with your soul.
We want to experience the world with bright, inquisitive travelers, ready to learn and embrace both the similarities and differences of new places.
That’s why we offer the opportunity to combining reading with the hands-ons learning of travel for the hungry soul.

Policies
Unfortunately, not every traveler is a good traveler, so here are a few policies we need to abide by:
Upon submitting final payment you are agreeing to our new policy below.
Wet Blanket Policy:
Wet blanket
– a person who makes it difficult for other people to enjoy themselves by complaining, acting negatively, creating drama, etc.
– one that quenches or dampens enthusiasm or pleasure
- Our philosophy of travel involves getting out of the ordinary to experience other cultures and places with an open minded attitude and flexibility. Since as in daily life, anything can and will happen, let’s embrace these situations with acceptance and understanding because they will either lead to an unexpected, amazing experience or positive learning experience.
- If anyone brings along excess baggage such as incessant complaining, under the breath rude comments, outward negativity or other such behaviors that infect the entire group or individuals, we have the exclusive right to remove them from the tour at their own cost with no refunds. (yes, this means you)
- If any major concerns arise during a tour, please just come talk to us and we’ll work it out!
Refund and Credit Policy
Every trip either a Day Trip or Multi-Day trip has a cancelation date. Each itinerary clearly states the specific cancelation date for each trip. There will be no refunds if cancelation occurs after the specified date. Even if you ask or demand, you will not receive a refund.
When Final Payment is Due
You are held responsible for the entire balance due if cancelation occurs after the specified cancelation date regardless of when Final Payment Due Notices are sent, unless we have a replacement on the Waitlist or you are able to find a replacement. We certainly understand cancelations, this is the reason we offer Travel Insurance.
In the Case of a Canceled Tour
You will have the option for a refund or a credit that can be used towards another trip. If we do not hear from you, a credit will automatically be applied. Credits are good for up to a year and at that time will expire. Credits under no circumstances will ever be turned into a refund.
