Lambert Castle:

It’s time for more backyard gems right here in New Jersey!
We’ll travel back to the Victorian era’s Gilded Age on a visit to Lambert Castle, constructed in 1892 as the home and showplace of silk manufacturer Catholina Lambert. Set majestically upon Garret Mountain, this English style castle named “Belle Vista” welcomed many prominent individuals of the era into its lavish spaces that included an extensive collection of American and European paintings and sculptures that unfortunately ended up being sold.
After an extensive renovation, the castle has once again opened its doors to visitors. A guided tour will take us through the castle’s period rooms and exhibit spaces while revealing all its storied history along the way.
Local Lunch:

Sit back and relax for an included lunch at a great local spot nearby.
Paterson Falls:

Now we visit a New Jersey National Historic Park, Paterson Great Falls a beautiful spot of nature hidden away from the bustling city surrounding it.
A short, easy walk will bring you face to face with a 77-foot-high drop of gushing water from the Passaic River.
Cross the newly opened pedestrian footbridge above the falls where you may get misted but will get a great close up falls view and be soothed by its serenity.
