My dad is to thank for my love of travel. Ever since I can remember he was taking me to fun exciting places either close to or far from home. Numerous yearly trips to New York City and Philadelphia taught me how to navigate cities and enjoy all the sights while walking, endlessly.
Taxis didn’t exist with my dad, only non-stop walking which while I complained loudly about as a child. Later, as an adult, I discovered how this was the greatest gift.
My first long trips, traipsing around Europe backpack style was with him fed my curiosity to discover and explore new places and wanting to see them all. In my adult life, as a research scientist I had the advantage to move around often to different parts of the East Coast, then luckily made my way to live in Zurich for two captivating and adventurous years which were spent living in and exploring the city and taking in-depth journeys to all the nearby regions I could reach by train, and afford. Every new place I’ve lived, I’ve had the desire to explore them to the fullest and still feel that desire today everywhere I am lucky enough to go.
While I loved spending my career in a number of exciting research labs from microbiology to neuroscience where I got to work with and teach many exceptionally fantastic undergraduate students, I’m very excited to be here now, in the travel business , where I can share my passion to see new places and experience everything there is to see with people who are as excited as myself to go on endless journeys.
