Pocono State Craft Festival
Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm ~ Four Sisters Winery
One Day Tour ~ Saturday, August 28, 2021
or Sunday, August 29, 2021
Tucked away in the Pocono mountains on 114 acres of beautiful pastures, woodlands, and streams sits Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. Interpreters dressed in historic clothing who portray members of the Pennsylvania German family that lived at this site provide an experience of farm life on a traditional 1800s homestead. Quiet Valley is also home to all the farm animals typically found in the 1800s and includes an 1850s bank barn, original farmhouse, cabin spring house, ice house, smokehouse, dryhouse, and assorted smaller barns. If that wasn’t enough in itself, today the farm hosts the annual Pocono State Craft Festival, one of the area’s largest variety of art and craft demonstrations. The finest artists and craftsmen from across the U.S. travel here to feature their traditional and contemporary hand crafted items such as pottery, jewelry, metal, stained glass, wood, baskets, leather, folk art, fine art, photography, soap, gourmet foods and more! All craftsmen will be there personally to discuss their individual works and provide several live demonstrations that brings the creative process to life. Enjoy local musicians as you stroll through the arts and craft vendors that line the pathways as we are captivated by art and the nature that surrounds us. Once you’re all shopped out, the rest of our afternoon will be spent relaxing with a wine tasting at Four Sisters Winery. Enjoy live music on the deck while sipping delicious varieties of wine and even grab some snacks or a late lunch. We’ll raise our glasses and toast to a wonderful summer day filled with art, nature, and friendship!
