Gardens at Mill Fleurs:
A very special, secret garden built upon an artistic dream is hiding in the lovely landscape of Bucks County. Welcome to the Gardens at Mill Fleurs, a place of beauty and romance in a historic setting featuring a grist mill and sawmill along the banks of the winding Tohickon Creek.
Mill Fleurs is an impossible garden built on an impossible site, so let’s step inside to hear the heartwarming story of its existence and follow the pathways through the interesting and sometimes strange variety of plants and flowers blooming along the way.
We’ll be led by the designer Barbara Tiffany herself who will fill us full of knowledge about her unique garden creation. Sit among the splendor of our surroundings enjoying an included wine and cheese tasting or homemade refreshments atop a historic Ice House.
Lumberville General Store:
After, we’ll step back in time at the Lumberville General Store for an included lunch at their charming café.
Paxon Hill Farm:
One more secret garden to explore at Paxon Hill Farm, home to a plant nursery filled with rare and exotic perennials.
Many surprises await around each bend as you wander through the shade gardens, formal gardens, bell garden, and the “land of the misfit plants”. So bring your curiosity and sense of adventure and wondrous treasures await!
Pricing & Departures:
Departs Ridgewood Graydon Pool South Lot, across Linwood Ave on the field side at 7:15 AM and returns at approximately 6:30 PM
Departs Morris Plains Community Center, 51 Jim Fear Dr. at 8:00 AM and returns at approximately 5:45 PM
Departs South Plainfield High School at the end of Lane Ave at 8:45 AM and returns approximately 5:00 PM
Cars may be parked at all locations at your own risk.
No reservations accepted without a payment of $190 per person. Make checks payable to “Group Tours & Travel” and mail to the above address. A full refund will be granted if canceled prior June 16, 2023. No refund will be granted on a cancellation that occurs after June 16, 2023. Group Tours is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, injuries or circumstances beyond its control and reserves the right to change this itinerary.
