Philadelphia Flower Show:
It still may be cold outside but Spring has arrived in Philadelphia! The Philadelphia Flower Show will brighten up your March with its Garden Electric, a dazzling array of color, unique shapes and textures, and rich fragrances of gorgeous flora displays and gardens that come alive at every turn.
This year’s theme brings the electrifying presence of today’s most dynamic designers of floral arrangements, lush gardens, and landscapes to one amazing space in which we can spend the day wandering and admiring.
Butterflies Live!:
A special exhibit, Butterflies Live! will be part of your day, where there’s a chance to come up close to both native and exotic butterflies of spectacular color in a serene garden setting. Take your time in this calming space to connect with these wondrous beauties.
If you’re feeling crafty, visit Artisan Row to make your own garden inspired treasure or choose a flowery crown to wear from the Bloom Bar (not included). There will be live music to dance the day away and plenty of shopping opportunities to find that perfect gift, plant or memento.
Numerous food vendors will be available right at the show OR….
Reading Terminal Market:
Take a break and walk across the street to the amazingly wonderful Reading Terminal Market for a special treat for lunch on your own. So much to choose from in this energetic, historic space!
So why not break free of the winter gloom and get out and feel that spark of joy only the perfection of nature can bring.
Pricing & Departures:
Departs from Ridgewood’s Graydon Pool parking lot (corner of Linwood Avenue & Northern Parkway) at 7:30 AM and returns at approximately 6:00 PM.
Departs from Morris Plains Community Center, 51 Jim Fear Drive at 8:15 AM and returns at approximately 5:15 PM.
Departs from South Plainfield High School at the end of Lane Ave at 9:00 AM and returns at approximately 4:30 PM.
Cars may be parked at all locations at your own risk.
No reservations accepted without a payment of $165 per person. Make checks payable to “Group Tours & Travel” and mail to the above address. Due to the last minute nature of this tour, refunds cannot be granted after registration. Group Tours is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, injuries or circumstances beyond its control and reserves the right to change this itinerary.
