Shipman Mansion:

The exquisite and majestic Second Empire style Shipman Mansion built along the banks of the scenic Delaware River is our first stop on our journey through New Jersey. Built in 1869 by prominent editor Paul Shipman and his writer wife Alice, this elaborate mansion’s innovative European architecture was ahead of its time.
The mansion eventually was bought and is still owned by the Red Dragon Canoe Company, one of the oldest surviving active canoe clubs on the Delaware Rive from the late 1800’s.
We’ll step inside on our guided tour to learn the architectural, cultural, and waterfront history of the mansion property and surrounding region.
Burlington Lunch:

Onto the cute town of Burlington, a treasure trove of American history and its brick lined downtown sidewalks for exploring and lunch on your own.
Chocolatrium:

Don’t fill up too much because delicious Michel Cluizel chocolates await!
Our last stop is the chocolate museum at Chocolatrium where we’ll discover chocolate history and how it evolved through the centuries with tastings of unique French chocolates along the way.
Our tasting includes 2 chocolate truffles, 1 French macaroon, and 1 French pastry/brownie. Of course there’s a retail store right there to browse and purchase all your favorites.
